On October 4, 2025 the Reno Rodeo Foundation is hosting our annual Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament at New West Distributing, and it promises to be a night filled with fun, competition, and, most importantly, community impact.

This tournament is not just about cards; it’s about supporting the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s vital programs that make a difference in the lives of children across Northern Nevada. By participating, you’ll be directly contributing to the success of these essential initiatives:

  • Denim Drive: This program ensures that abused and neglected children receive new clothing and hygiene items, providing them with the essentials they need for comfort and dignity during challenging times.
  • Reading Rooms: Designed to bring comfort to children involved in family court proceedings, this program gifts new books and teddy bears, helping to create a sense of normalcy and joy during stressful and uncertain times.
  • Rodeo Wish: We grant special wishes to children battling serious medical conditions, offering them unforgettable experiences and hope during their most challenging moments. From dream trips to specialized medical equipment, each wish is tailored to bring joy and make a lasting impact on the child’s life.
  • Scholarships: Our scholarships enable Northern Nevada students to pursue higher education and vocational training. Since its inception, the Reno Rodeo Foundation has awarded over $2 million in scholarships, empowering students to achieve their academic and career aspirations.

The stakes are high, and the competition will be fierce as players vie for the coveted Reno Rodeo Foundation Texas Hold ‘Em belt buckle—a symbol of skill, strategy, and support for our community.

Whether you’re a seasoned poker player or just looking for a great night out, your involvement will help ensure that our programs continue to thrive and serve those who need them most.
